Football world sends support to Kevin Campbell as his former club Arsenal release update

The 52-year-old spent six years at Highbury, winning the Premier League title twice, before later joining Everton, where he spent a further three seasons.
A number of Campbell's former clubs and teammates have sent messages of support, with Arsenal releasing a statement on their website.
"The thoughts of everyone at Arsenal are with Kevin Campbell, who is currently unwell in hospital," the statement read.
"Kevin was a member of our title-winning sides in 1998 and 2002 and made a significant contribution to the club."
"We are in touch with his family and will provide further updates when we have them."
Everton also released a statement, saying: "The thoughts of everyone at Everton are with Kevin Campbell, who is currently unwell in hospital."
"Kevin was a popular figure during his time at Goodison Park, and we send him our best wishes for a speedy recovery."
Campbell's former Arsenal teammate Ian Wright wrote on Twitter: "Thoughts are with Kev Campbell and his family right now. Stay strong Kev."
Former Everton teammate Tony Hibbert also sent a message of support, saying: "Get well soon Kev. Thinking of you and your family at this tough time."
Campbell's illness has come as a shock to the football world, and everyone at Arsenal and Everton will be hoping for a speedy recovery.
