Carlo Ancelotti Extends His Contract with Real Madrid

Carlo Ancelotti has signed a new contract that runs until June 2024 with Real Madrid, the club announced on Friday. The new deal comes after the Italian returned to the club in June 2021, having previously coached them from 2013 to 2015 during which time he won the Champions League.

Ancelotti left Real Madrid in 2015 but returned in 2021 after a spell in charge of Napoli. He has since won the La Liga title and the Champions League again with Real Madrid. Now he has extended his contract for another season, which will see him remain at the club until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

The 62-year-old Italian has been in charge of Real Madrid for two spells, winning the Champions League twice and La Liga three times. He was previously in charge of AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Napoli.

Ancelotti's success at Real Madrid has been built on his ability to get the best out of his players and create a team that is both successful and entertaining to watch.
